Ronald Maloney

Our Lord, in His infinite wisdom, called the soul of Ronald Patrick Maloney, 93, to be with Him in heaven on 5/20/2022. Ron was born to Patrick and Nora Maloney. He graduated from Green Bay West High School, attended UW Madison, and worked first for the commercial lighting division of Westinghouse and then for Sylvania/GTE until retirement. During his employment with Sylvania/GTE, he took over the management and operation of Maloney’s Dust Control Services in Green Bay after his father passed away.

Ron was an avid Packers fan and season ticket holder. Ron also enjoyed flying as a private pilot, boating in their cabin cruiser, the “Cygnet”, downhill & cross-country skiing, spending time at the cottage in Door County, working out at the YMCA, and having Sunday coffee with his friends at the airport.

Ron is survived by his wife: Elaine (Lafek), his lifelong love of 72 years. He is also survived by his sons: Mark (Denise), Kevin (Suzanne), and Keith; two grandchildren: Kyle (Jamie) and Erin; and three greatgrandchildren: Eloise, Archer, and Olive Maloney; and his sister: Susie DeWulf.

Funeral services for Ron will be at St. John Lutheran Church, 2700 Babcock Road, Ashwaubenon, on Monday, June 6, 2022, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Josh Fite officiating, with visitation at 12:00 noon until the time of service.
