Rosella "Rose" Theresa (Capesius) Beauvais

Rosella “Rose” Theresa (Capesius) Beauvais, 97, of Green Bay, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at her home.

Rose was born on May 3, 1924 in LaMotte, IA to Frank and Anna (Lenz) Capesius. On June 19, 1946 she married Arthur Beauvais. He preceded her in death on February 13, 1990. Rose was a telephone operator for Bell Telephone Company.

Rose was a member at Nativity of our Lord Catholic Church.  She was a loving and compassionate person who shared her talents by volunteering in many ways, including the VFW Auxiliary, Telephone Pioneers, and Woodside Nursing Home. 

She loved to garden and spend time outdoors, but found her biggest joy in enriching the lives of her family.

Rose is survived by her children: Gene (Cathy) Beauvais of Portland, OR, Greg (Susan) Beauvais of Atlanta, GA, Peggy (Kevin) Brice of Portland, OR, Jan (Mike) Hall of Green Bay, and Jeff Beauvais of Austin, TX; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and companion: Cy Kohlbeck. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rose was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Arthur; daughter-in-law: Joan Beauvais; sister and brothers: Celestine (Hank) Johnson, Robert (Mary) Capesius, and Merlin (Rita) Capesius.

A family memorial service to celebrate Rose’s life will be held at a later date.
