Sally LeCaptain

Sally A. LeCaptain, 87, Green Bay, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018.  She was born May 23, 1931 in Green Bay, to Ernest and Irene (Gerondale) Del Vaux.  In 1960, Sally married the late Eugene LeCaptain at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Green Bay. 

In her younger years, Sally loved Ballroom dancing and music. In more recent years, she loved knitting and cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.

Sally is survived by her children, Sandra (Ken) Wendt, Sherry (Bob) Schmidt, Susan (Darren) Mashl, Eric (Rashelle) LeCaptain, Stephanie (Chris Nejedlo) LeCaptain; Grandchildren, Michelle (Tony Phillips) Wendt, Brian (Shonna Fuerst) Wendt, Ashley (Steve Deischer) Wendt, Kristen (Jordan Kinney) Wendt, Stacy (fiancé, John Akstulewicz) Wendt, Colleen (Eric) Miller, Crystal (Zachrich) Just, Candice Hogan, Justin Peterson, Samantha (Blaise Convery) Peterson, Amanda (Aaron Summ) Peterson, Riannon, Elena and Brenna LeCaptain, Natasha (Mike Bendtschneider Jr.) Swanson; 11 great-grandchildren; sister in law, Diane Delvaux; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene; and brother, Ken Delvaux.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am. Expressions of sympathy, memories and photos may be shared with Sally’s family on her tribute page at www.lyndahl.com.
