Sally Ann Voskuil, age 86, of Green Bay passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.
Sally was born May 24, 1939 in the Township of Wein, daughter of the late Kimble and Margery (Hoppe) Dabbert. She was a graduate of Stratford High School with the Class of 1957. Sally then attended Eau Claire Accredited School of Cosmetology. She was united in marriage to David A. Voskuil on August 15, 1959 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Stratford. He preceded her in death on April 12, 2013.
Sally was an amazing homemaker busy raising four boys. Often worked as an interior decorator hanging wallpaper from the early 70's till the early 90's. Sally spent countless hours enjoying many different (immaculate) crafts through the years. To have been gifted a piece of her "craftwork crocheting" was an heirloom, not to mention her skills using her Serger sewing machine. She enjoyed gardening right up into her early 80's and often gave generously of her vegetables. Along with her beloved Dave, they were staples of fun at any sentinel family and friend event. Their adventures were many and memories unforgettable. Their love for their friends and family was genuine. For the record, they were the original shenanagin makers.
Survivors include her sons: Kim, Kyle (Candi), Derk Voskuil and daughter-in-law Lisa Voskuil; Grandchildren: Rachael (Kyle) Malach, Gabrielle Voskuil, Dane and Rowan Voskuil, Shaquinn and Sierra Voskuil; Great Grandchildren: Damon and Bellamy Malach; Her older brother and sister-in-law: Roger (Anna) Dabbert (California); and many nieces and nephews.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents, husband David Voskuil, son Rick Voskuil, Sister Judy Schwartz, and Step Sister Betty Dabbert.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 16, at Lyndahl Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Green Bay. The family will greet friends and family at 10:30, and the service will begin at 12:30. Her remains will be placed next to her husband David at Allouez Cemetery at a later date.
For those who knew Sally well through the years, it is only right to join us wearing your pajamas!
