Samuel D. Belter, age 38 of Green Bay passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born on September 11,1982 in Green Bay, to Robert Jr. and Patricia (Gouin) Belter. Sam was employed as an Electrical Mechanic by RR Donnelley. He was an exceptional fabricator and loved to figure things out and solve problems. He was not afraid to take risks. Sam had a huge heart and was good at making people feel welcome. He loved to tease everyone. He loved traveling with his kids, especially to Whitefish Dunes. Sam loved dogs.
He is survived by two children, Sofiah A. Belter, Maxwell D. Belter and their mother, Annette Greatens and their brothers Chandler and Forrest; his parents, Robert and Patricia Belter; one sister, Sarah Belter; one brother, Jordan (fiancé, Olivia Warpinski) Belter; paternal grandmother, Lois Belter; Annette’s parents, Cheryl and Roger Allen and their family; his dogs, Ozzy and Cin; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
Sam was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Fern and Albert Gouin; paternal grandfather, Robert Belter; two uncles, Robert Gouin and John Greenwood; one cousin, Elizabeth Gouin; and Annette’s father, Mark Greatens.
Visitation will be held at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 7:00 p.m. with Deacon Mike Dabeck officiating. Expressions of sympathy, memories, and photos may be shared with Sam’s family at www.lyndahl.com.
