Sandra Kay (Workman) Toomer

Sandra Kay Toomer, 66, of De Pere, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Azura in Oshkosh.

Sandy was born on September 22, 1954 in Muskegon, MI to the late Lawrence and Shirley (Buit) Workman. She was a graduate of Green Bay East High School. She furthered her education at UW-Oshkosh, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. On March 20, 1999, she married Troy Toomer in Brunswick, GA. Sandy was a registered nurse and spent her life helping other people. She was a very special lady and will be thoroughly missed by all that knew her.

Sandy is survived by her loving husband: Troy; her son: Tristan Toomer; and one brother and sister-in-law: Scott and Laura Workman. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Memorial service to celebrate Sandy’s life will be held at 12:30 PM on Friday, September 17, 2021 at First United Methodist Church, with Rev. David Kalas presiding. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday, September 17, 2021 at the church from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 12:30 PM.
