Sharon A (Zimmermann) Kohls

Sharon Ann Kohls, 88, of Green Bay passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.

Sharon was born on September 13, 1934 in Sheboygan to Harvey and Anna (Krum) Zimmermann. She was a graduate of Sheboygan North High School. On June 18, 1955 she married William Kohls, he preceded her in death on May 30, 2009. Sharon was a dedicated and devoted wife, mom and grandma. She took pride in taking care of her family.

Sharon was a member of Pilgrim Congregational Church, where she was involved with various activities and committees. Through the years, Sharon was an avid reader, enjoyed playing golf, bowling, including on leagues, playing bridge, and traveling with her husband.

Sharon is survived by her children: Randall Kohls, Green Bay, Wendy (Paul) Kersten, Woodbury, MN, Debra (Donald) Toellner, Green Bay, and James (Gloria) Kohls, Lake Worth, FL; grandchildren: Bryan Kersten, Adam Kersten, Cameron Kettner, Courtney (Israel) Becerril, Ali Kettner, and Matthew Kohls; great-grandchildren: Scarlett and William Becerril; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Mary Kohls and Beverly (Edwin) Rautmann. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband: William.

A funeral service to celebrate Sharon’s life will be held on Friday. November 25, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Pilgrim Congregational Church, 991 Pilgrim Way, with Rev. Andy King officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday, November 25, 2022 at the church from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm.
