On Friday, February 10, 2023, Sharon Rita Stoller, age 74, passed away after a courageous fight with Parkinson’s disease. She was living at GranCare Gardens/GranCare Nursing Center for the past 2 ½ years. The fourth child in a family of nine, they lived on a dairy farm in Alaska, WI. She graduated from Alaska Grade School, Kewaunee High School, and Bellin Memorial Hospital Laboratory Technique School. She was extremely proud to receive her Bachelor of Science degree from University of WI – Green Bay. Sharon worked in the clinical lab for 25 years, she then worked at Eland Electric in the office for 15 years before her retirement.
Sharon enjoyed traveling to England, Sweden, Denmark, and Eastern Canada, as well as many states in the United States. She enjoyed and treasured her time with her family and friends attending many events such as camping, parties and providing games for young children. Her pastime was crocheting, counted cross stitching, genealogy, spending time with friends, travel, and the computer until her health began to fail.
She is survived by her sisters: Patricia (Ronald) Zager, Louise (Dale) Van Beek, Ruby LaPlant, Ellen Stoller; one brother: Roger Stoller; five nephews: Raymond Stoller, Brian (Jennifer) Zager, Jeff (Sara) Bartig, Steve (Sally) Bartig Christopher VanBeek; two nieces: Brenda (Andy) Ellinger, Nicole Stoller; one godchild: Cari and precious friends: Diane (Mike) Piontek and Mary Struzel. She was greeted in heaven by her parents: Louis Phillip and Rita Viola (nee /Ray) Stoller; brother: Louis Joseph; sisters: Elizabeth “Bette” (Don) Bartig and Cynthia (Rich) Polek; brother in law: Mitchell LaPlant; nephew: Louis James Stoller.
A gathering of family and friends will take place on Friday February 17, 2023, from1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Lyndahl Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, Green Bay. Burial of her cremains will take place later.
