Shelly Marie (Fulton) Rockwell, 53, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 4, 2021 at Bellin Hospital.
Shelly was born on May 16, 1968, in Green Bay to William E. and Alice M. (Kopp) Fulton. She was a 1986 graduate of Ashwaubenon High School and received her Associate Degree from NWTC in Child Care. Shelly was a day care teacher over the years at Just for Kids and Big Apple before she owned her own, Kid City.
Shelly fostered many children throughout the years. She enjoyed playing softball, volleyball, and soccer, as well as coaching soccer. She also enjoyed playing darts, doing crafts, camping, and getting to know people.
Shelly is survived by three children: Omar, Nathan and Yanirah “Nini” Rockwell of Green Bay; her parents: Bill and Alice Fulton of Green Bay; two brothers: Gregory (Joanne) Fulton of KY, and Brent Fulton of Wales; nephews and nieces: Zachary (Jennifer) Fulton, Chantay (Nick) Reidle, and Austin Fulton; and great nephews and nieces: Olin and Isabelle Fulton, and Renee, Aryanna and Nikita Reidle; special friend: Matthew Weiland of Green Bay. She is furthered survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Shelly was preceded in death by her grandparents: William F. and Virginia Fulton and Homer and Catherine Kopp; and two uncles: Charles Fulton and Douglas Fulton.
Cremation has taken place and per Shelly’s wishes no services were held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
