Steven John Noel

Steven J. Noel, age 70, of Green Bay, passed away Saturday June 15, 2024 at Bellin Hospital following a short stay at Court of Eden Vista Nursing Home.  He was born in Green Bay to John and the late Nancy (Evearts) Noel on February 22, 1954.  He graduated with the class of 1972 from West High School and went on to receive his bachelor’s degree from UWGB. On November 13, 1982 he married Roberta (Robyn) Ruys in Combined Locks. Steven was a sales representative until his retirement in 2018. Steve was the “Voice of the Phoenix” for 42 years following completion of his degree from UWGB. Steve was a lifelong avid Packer fan, tailgater and ticketholder going back to attending the “Ice Bowl” with his dad. 

Steve is survived by his wife of 41 years: Robyn; along with his three daughters: Amanda (Matt) Rotter; Jenna (Rich) Robbins and Terra Noel; five grandchildren: Ellie, Ava and Theo Rotter, Landon and Evan Robbins; his father: John Noel; sister: Patty Edinger; and brother: Scott (Julie) Noel; also surviving are brothers and sisters-in-law: Dave and Lynn (Ruys) Ebben, Steve and Karen Ruys; Randy and Karen Ruys, Dan and Terri Ruys, Neal Ruys and Matt and Gina Ruys. 

He was preceded in death by his daughter: Lea; his mother: Nancy Noel; Robyn’s parents; and Nick and Grace Ruys. 

A private family service will occur with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
