Susan L. Proctor, 75, Green Bay, died Sunday, April 4, 2021. She was born October 14, 1945 in Green Bay to the late Norman S. and Luella A. (Erdmann) Proctor. Susan was a 1963 graduate of Green Bay West High School.
She served her country in the U. S. Army for five years, the Army Reserves for five years and served in the Peace Corps for two years stationed in Seoul, South Korea. Susan received a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee in special education. She was employed as a teacher of the deaf and hard of hearing.
Susan loved taking pictures and she was even a photographer while serving in the U. S. Army. She also enjoyed gardening, painting, playing board games and card games, and hosted monthly game nights.
Susan is survived by her two brothers Pat (Janice) Proctor, Green Bay and David (Kathy) Proctor, Sobieski; and her sister, Sally Proctor, Green Bay; nieces and nephews, Nathan Tenor, Jenny Trudell, Jackie Baumann, Jeff Proctor, Jim Proctor, Fran Toutloff, Heather Toutloff, and Ben Toutloff; and many other relatives and friends also survive.
Visitation for Susan will be held Thursday, April 8, from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 341 Wilson Avenue, with Rev. Diane Rew officiating. Burial will be at Fort Howard Memorial Park.
The family would like to especially thank Odd Fellows Home, Tender Hearts Assisted Living and Heartland Hospice for the care and kindness that was given to our sister Sue. We greatly appreciated their assistance the past few months.
