Teddy Aileen (Nimmer) Spiegelberg

Teddy Aileen Nimmer Spiegelberg, 74, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 24, 2025.

Teddy was born on July 13, 1951, in Pascagoula, MS, to Lee and Zelda Aileen (Budd) Nimmer. She was in the first graduating class at Ashwaubenon High School in 1969 and went on to UWSP then UWGB earning her master’s degree in education. Teddy spent her entire 33-year teaching career at Parkview Middle School, where she was known for her creativity, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her students. She believed deeply in the power of education to shape young lives and brought passion to her work every day.

Teddy is a devoted daughter, loving mother and grandma, always caring deeply for her family.  She was a member of the Brown County Community Women’s Club (BCCWC), an avid reader, and a proud participant in several clubs. A passionate human rights activist, Teddy also enjoyed traveling, knitting, playing games, and spending time with her cherished friends.

Teddy is survived by her two daughters, Rebecca Spiegelberg and Melanie Spiegelberg; her grandson, Zachary Spiegelberg; and her brother and sister-in-law, Terry (Carol) Nimmer. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Aileen Nimmer, and her grandson, Sean Spiegelberg.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Nelson Family Pavillion at Voyageur Park in De Pere, WI. Teddy will be laid to rest at Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
