Theresa Reivitis Obituary

Theresa “Terri” Rose Reivitis, age 87, passed away Wednesday November 6, 2024 at Woodside Lutheran Home surrounded by her family. She was born   March 4, 1937 in Green Bay, WI to the late John and Rose (Villeneauve) Wauters. She attended Green Bay West High School, graduating with the class of 1955. On October 13, 1962 she married Victor Reivitis at St. Agnes Church in Green Bay. He preceded her in death on March 26, 2019.

Terri worked as a legal secretary for Strong and Strong until her retirement in 2007. She enjoyed reading, ceramics, tutoring, she helped her husband and his family gain citizenship into the United States. Terri was very involved in her church and school with her kids. She was a true mother Theresa that enjoyed helping others in need. Terri provided tutoring services at the library, enjoyed reading and was a member of the book club where she had many friends. She enjoyed shopping at craft shows and going to movies & plays.

Vic & Terri traveled a great deal, especially trips involving visiting their kids at college. Trips to Mackinac Island were a must in the fall. They travelled all over the U.S. with Marleen.

She is survived by her daughter:  Carrie (Greg) Nystrom; son: Chris (Bekki) Reivitis; six grandchildren: Jack, Isaac, Graham, Hudson, Reese, and Luke; two sisters: Bonnie McGuire and Marteen Gallenberger; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends survive.

Terri was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Victor; two brothers and sisters in law: Richard and Mary Wauters and Frederick “Fritz” and Susie Wauters; brother and sister in laws: Ed and Lena Reivitis, Roy McGuire and Bernard “Corky” Gallenberger and best friend Bev Van Hemelryk.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday November 13, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth Street, Green Bay with Rev. Quinn Mann officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow the service at Fort Howard Memorial Park.
