Troy S. Zacharias

Troy S. Zacharias, age 55, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 surrounded by family, at Bellin Hospital, Green Bay.  He was born on March 29, 1967, in Appleton, WI to James and Carla (Borree) Zacharias.  He attended Kaukauna High School and graduated with the class of 1985.  On October 12, 1990, he married Amy Willms in the Town of Deerbrook.  Troy owned and operated Action Appraisers & Consultants, Inc.

Troy enjoyed big game hunting, fishing, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed downhill skiing and cross-country skiing so much that he skied the American Berkebeiner – Kortelopet multiple times. For many years he would go to South Dakota with his brother to pheasant hunt. Troy and Amy enjoyed spending time in Colorado with extended family, elk hunting, hiking, and fishing. Troy loved meeting new people and he could strike up a conversation with anyone about anything.

Troy’s favorite pastime was spending time at the family cottage, walking in the woods, and cutting down anything with a chainsaw.

Troy is survived by his wife Amy, children, Amanda (Joe) Wilke, Zackery (Brooke), and Kaitlyn (Christopher Avila); his grandchildren: Reileigh, Abigail, and Lakyn; mother, Carla (James Whitmore) Zacharias, brother, Tod (Carolyn) Zacharias; and other relatives. Troy was preceded in death by his father James Zacharias and sister Tori Zacharias.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 12 pm at St. Mark Ministries, 2066 Lawrence Dr, De Pere with Minister Mr. Michael Hennig officiating. Visitation will occur on Saturday at 9 am until the time of service.
