Vera Jean Baker, age 95, of Green Bay passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026 at her residence of Emerald Bay Assisted Living.
Vera was born January 7, 1931 in Green Bay, daughter of the late George and Ebba (Erickson) Bunker. Vera attended West High School. She married the late Leo Baker November 15th, 1952; father of her four children. Vera enjoyed her jobs at Fannie Farmer, Red Owl, HC Prange, Wheeler Cheese, Curtis Linen, American Greeting Cards at Walmart West and March of Dimes.
Vera enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters for pageants and sports.
Vera is survived by her two sons Terry (Tammy) Baker, Randy (Patti) Baker, Granddaughters Traci (Joel) Graham, Taylor (Josh) Forni, and Amber (Chad) Roehrig, and her great grandchildren Cooper Graham, Eloise, Harriet, and Everett Forni, Brecken, Kaitlynn, and Devin Roehrig, and many nieces and nephews.
Vera was preceded in death by her parents, two sons Michael J. and Thomas L. Baker, her brothers and sister-in-law’s Merwin & Gertrude Bunker and Benson & Marianne Bunker.
Private Family services were held per Vera’s wishes. Entombment took place at Shrine of The Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
