Wayne Justin LeCloux

Wayne Justin LeCloux, 86, of Green Bay passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at his home.

Wayne was born on January 10, 1939 to the late Robert and Lena (Chaudoir) LeCloux. He was a graduate of Green Bay Preble High School. On September 19, 1959, he married the former Bernice Nancy Leidel, at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Green Bay. Wayne worked for 40 years at Northern Paper Mills, currently known as Georgia Pacific, until his retirement in July of 2002. He served as president of the Papermakers Local Union 213 for 25 years. Wayne enjoyed tending to his flower garden, watching comedies, and taking his granddaughters, Sami and Emma to the park to feed the ducks.

Wayne is survived by his wife: Bernice Nancy LeCloux, Green Bay; two sons: Brian (Beth Hutchinson) LeCloux, Sun Prairie, and Rod (Barb) LeCloux, Suamico; two granddaughters: Sami LeCloux, and Emma LeCloux; one sister: Betty (John) Tassoul, Green Bay; and two sisters-in-law: Carol (Gary) Counard, Oconto Falls, and Ginny Leidel of DePere. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Lena LeCloux.

A funeral service to celebrate Wayne’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 11:30 am at Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 2270 S. Onieda Street, with Rev. Matt Simonar officiating the Mass of Christian Burial. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at the church from 9:30 am until the time of service at 11:30 am. Wayne will be laid to rest at Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.
