Obituary
Wilda Kangas, age 63, of Green Bay, passed away on Sunday July 23, 2023.
She was born on November 3,1959 in Newark, Ohio, to John Theodore and Mary Catherine (Hall) Engle.
Wilda was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her daughters: Stephanie (Andy) Boehm, Rachel Schwittay; her son: Scott Engle, her grandchildren: Dustin Engle, Austin Engle, Lyndsey Schwittay, Elliott Schwittay, Ryker Schwittay-Bahrke, Jack Schwittay, Ike Eichman, and Victoria Caldwell; her sister: Lavada; brother: Danny, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Pete.
Wilda was known for her vibrant personality and her ability to light up any room. Fondly remembered as “Wildabeast” by her friends, she was the life of the party and had an instantly recognizable laugh. Her infectious spirit brought joy to everyone around her.
In her free time, Wilda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She cherished every moment and created lasting memories with her loved ones. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Wilda attended Escanaba High School, where she laid the foundation for her future endeavors. This includes nursing and assisted care to assembly and welding.
The loss of Wilda leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May her soul rest in peace, and may her memory be a blessing to all.
