William J. Waldorf

William J. Waldorf, joined his family in heaven on Friday, December 16, 2022 at the age of 71.

William was born June 15, 1951 in Green Bay, WI, son of the late Jacob and Dolores (Bartell) Waldorf.  He was a graduate of Green Bay West High School with the Class 1970.

William (Wally as he was known) enjoyed working with his friends and co-workers at Green Bay Packaging – Mill Division for 42 years. He held a position of recording secretary with the United Steelworkers Union Local 597.  William enjoyed socializing, all genres of music, going to concerts, photography, motorcycle riding and four wheeling with friends.  One of his favorite pastimes was spending time with his beloved Sasha and Nika.  Bill liked meeting new people and always enjoyed having witty conversations with everyone. 

Bill is survived by his loving sister, Doreen Waldorf; and relatives:  Donna Bartell, Patrick & Joyce Bartell, Joyce Waldorf, Jean Waldorf, Pat (Darrel) Whiting and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Dolores Waldorf and his older brother Gary Waldorf, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Lyndahl Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Green Bay.  Entombment will take place at Allouez Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum at a later date.
