I was a machine operator at Kendall for years. On the days I couldn't get the machine to run proper and called for the shop I was glad to see Smitty come and help. I liked talking sports with him and listening to his humorous side. I was always impressed with his calmness because some days the machine just wouldn't run too good.

Thank you, Rod. That's so nice to hear! My dad had many stories from his days at Kendall. Some tragic and some hilariously funny. All part of who he was! ❤️

Our deepest sympathy to you Lois and to your family. I will always remember his kindness to my father Louis when his health was failing. His warmth and compassion for others speaks volumes as to the kind of man he was.

My dad's "Mineau" family was never far from his heart. Louis and Don had a special bond and his kindness toward his uncle was deeply heartfelt. He admired him, loved him, lost him, and is now reunited with him! God Bless. ❤️

Thank you for writing, Bootsie. My dad's cousins meant a lot to him, especially growing up surrounded by so many on Baird Street. I'm sure he was welcomed into heaven by his parents and your parents, as well as his other beloved aunts and uncles! God Bless 🙏🏼

Being dear friends with Donnie's daughter Shelly; I got to delight in the humor and love shared by father and daughter, through stories Shelly shared! My heart breaks for my friend and her family. I also have fond memories of Donnie and Lois from my early years on earth when Shelly and I were playmates many moons ago. Thank you Donnie for being a great father, husband and person! Rest in peace sir, and may God allow you to shine your spirit upon your family when they need to be uplifted and comforted!

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His loving arms around you and whispered "Come to Me."
Feel very blessed that we got to see Uncle Donnie this summer when we visited Green Bay and share some quality time together. He will forever be in our hearts.

There are special people in our lives who never leave us.....even after they are gone. My brother was one of those people. He was a protector and provider. A true gentleman in love with his family and a genuine friend to those close to him. May he rest in peace until we are reunited again in heaven. Love, your sister Nancy.
