Losing Mary is a great loss to the community. She was a loyal meet of BCCWC. We could always count on her donations for the meals for Firt Howard apartments. She was such an active member, even at her age of our community service group and for LIR. Mary will be missed.

Dear Johnson Family,
My wife and I send our sympathy to you all. Mary was a vibrant part of my teaching and retired life. She was always there for guidance and to encourage. She was enthusiastic and really enjoyed life. Because of her we are a part Lifelong Learning (Learning in Retirement). You will be in our thoughts and prayers. Unfortunately we are out of town and unable to be there to help you celebrate her life.

Our sincere sympathy and prayers for your Mom. I was acquainted with her through retirement classes (LIR) at UWGB. I noticed that she enjoyed playing a game of Hand and Foot with her grandchildren. That was one of the games that she taught in the games class and it became a favorite of the adult class, too. Her teaching was very much appreciated and I was inspired to be a life-long lover of card playing myself--thanks to her. (And we also play games with our young grandchildren.)

I heard of Mrs. Johnson's passing through a coworker of mine. AS we were talking I figured out who she was speaking about was actually a teacher of mine in grade school. (a long time ago ) I have nothing but good memories of her and am so glad to hear she lead a very long, good life with so many people that loved her. She was a very good teacher and special not only to the so very many students in her life but to many others as well. My condolences to the family.

Our deepest sympathy to all of Mary's family. She personally invited my family to some of her family's holiday meals. She was the most sweet, giving and loved woman I know.
